The Vineyard is a authentic community of ordinary individuals who bravely place their trust in Jesus, allowing Him to perform extraordinary feats.
Our Church started with a small group of 30 people who began meeting in Winding Ranch Elementary School and we have experienced growth ever since.
Our Pastors, Dale and Wendy McMillian came to the North Texas area with a dream that God had placed in their heart to create an authentic community of faith. Vineyard Community Church is now almost 8 years old and the Lord has really fulfilled that vision. We purchased land in 2020, and we have almost paid it off. We are very close to building a permanent place for this community of faith to call a HOME.
Today, Vineyard Community Church stands as a single church with a couple locations. Our Sunday Service is held at 800 Copper Canyon Dr. Prosper TX. and our mid-week classes, youth group and more are held at 4900 U.S. 377 Aubrey TX.
We believe that church isn't just about a building. It's about people's relationship with God and each other.
This church is formed as part of the Association of Vineyard Churches, U.S.A. As such, it ascribes to the Association of Vineyard Churches, USA, Theological and Philosophical Statements. Check out the Vineyard National site. www.vineyardusa.org
We want to extend mercy to any struggle, reconciling people back into relationship with God, others and the world. We want people to come as they are, with all the mess. We all have it, the good the bad and the ugly.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
James 3:17
We want to accept the challenge to grow and go, reaching those in need and experience God in His presence and power.

…and let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds...
Hebrews 10:24
We purposefully present ourselves in a manner that people can understand and feel a part of. This doesn't mean a performance. It means relevant to the situation. Helping people to come to Christ! Making it "not difficult".
“It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.
Acts 15:19
The men and women of the Vineyard's team are passionate about our church and providing members with everything they could possibly need.
